Travel Itinerary

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu – Half-Day Sightseeing(Flight)

Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, meet our local representative and transfer to your hotel. After check-in and a short rest, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of:
  • Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): One of the oldest and most revered Buddhist stupas in the world, dating back over 2000 years. Admire the iconic all-seeing eyes of Buddha and enjoy panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley.
  • Kathmandu Durbar Square: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, rich with ancient architecture and royal heritage. Explore Taleju Temple, Kal Bhairav, Nautalle Durbar, Nasal Chowk, Gaddi Baithak, and the statue of King Pratap Malla.
Evening: Free at leisure. You can explore the vibrant local markets or enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner (on your own). Overnight Stay: Kathmandu

Day 02:Kathmandu to Pokhara (Approx. 200 km / 6 hours)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Pokhara, a picturesque lakeside city nestled at the base of the Annapurna range. The scenic route offers river views, rolling hills, and glimpses of village life. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Evening: Free to enjoy a lakeside walk or visit the nearby cafes and shops. Overnight Stay: Pokhara

Day 03:Pokhara – Sunrise at Sarangkot & Local Sightseeing

Wake up early and drive to Sarangkot (approx. 45 minutes) to witness a magnificent sunrise over the Himalayan peaks, including the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machapuchare (Fishtail) mountains. Return to the hotel for breakfast and some rest. Later in the morning, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Pokhara:
  • Bindabasini Temple: A revered temple in the old bazaar dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati, with a peaceful setting and festive atmosphere on holy days.
  • Devi's Fall (Patale Chhango): A dramatic underground waterfall with a legendary origin.
  • Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave: A sacred cave located near Devi's Fall, famous for its natural Shiva Lingam and mystical ambiance. Photography is not allowed inside.
  • Seti Gorge: Witness the deep, narrow gorge carved by the Seti River. From Mahendra Pool, marvel at the river's white water rushing beneath the city.
Later return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04:Pokhara to Kathmandu – Evening Temple Visits

  After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kathmandu (approx. 6 hours). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, visit two of the city’s most spiritual landmarks:
  • Pashupatinath Temple: Located 5 km east of the city center, this temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is a sacred site for Hindus around the world. The two-tiered golden roof and silver-plated doors add to its spiritual grandeur.
  • Boudhanath Stupa: Just 3 km from Pashupatinath, this majestic Buddhist stupa is one of the largest in the world and a vibrant center of Tibetan Buddhism. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.

Day 05:Departure from Kathmandu(Flight)

After breakfast, enjoy free time until check-out. Later, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey or return flight home, taking with you unforgettable memories of Nepal.

10 Days Before Travel: 30% of the package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee. 5-9 Days Before Travel: 60% of the package cost will be charged. Within 4 Days of Travel: No refund will be provided. Note: Peak season includes long weekends, holidays, and festive periods. Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days.   1. Transportation Policy
  • Vehicles will be provided strictly as per the itinerary.
  • Vehicles are NOT available on disposal basis for personal use beyond scheduled tours or transfers.
  1. Sightseeing Duration
  • Half-Day Sightseeing: Maximum of 3 hours
  • Full-Day Sightseeing: Maximum of 6 hours
  1. Hotel Policy
  • Check-In Time: 2:00 PM
  • Check-Out Time: 12:00 Noon

Remarks

  • Splitting of the package (using partial services or modifying the itinerary) is not permitted.
  • Unused services (e.g., missed sightseeing, early check-outs, or skipped meals) are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Children Policies

  • Child Sharing Policy: A maximum of one child is allowed to share the existing bedding with parents. No extra bed will be provided unless specifically requested at an additional cost.
  • Children up to 5 Years: Complimentary land services (hotels, transportation, sightseeing) are free of charge. However, airline charges, if applicable, will be borne by the client.
  • Children 6 Years and Above: Charged at 100% of the adult package price, as full services are provided.

 

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in your tour package price. It is the passenger's responsibility to verify whether their existing health insurance provides coverage while traveling internationally. Please consult your insurance provider for specific details.

Butterfly Travel and Leisure strongly recommends purchasing a comprehensive travel insurance policy that covers the following:

  • Trip cancellations and loss of deposits
  • Baggage loss or delay
  • Loss of personal belongings
  • Medical expenses due to illness or injury
