Travel Itinerary

Day 01:Arrival in Cochin (40 km / 2 hrs) (Flight/Train)

Upon your arrival in Cochin Airport/Railway station, you will be greeted by a Butterfly Travel and Leisure representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Check in and relax for the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02:Cochin Sightseeing – Drive to Munnar (Approx. 130 km / 5 hrs)

After breakfast, set out on a guided sightseeing tour of Cochin. Visit iconic landmarks such as the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and the historic Santa Cruz Basilica. Later, embark on a scenic drive through the Western Ghats to reach Munnar. Check in at the hotel and unwind. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 03:Full Day Sightseeing in Munnar

Following a hearty breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Munnar’s natural beauty. Visit the charming hill station of Devikulam and the serene Sita Devi Lake, known for its mineral-rich waters. See the cascading Powerhouse and Nyamakadu waterfalls, and take in breathtaking views from Anaimudy, South India’s highest peak. Don’t miss Eravikulam National Park (Rajmala), home to the rare Nilgiri Tahr mountain goat. Return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 04: Munnar to Thekkady (Approx. 130 km / 4 hours)

After breakfast, checkout  from Hotel and drive to Thekkady, famous for its wildlife sanctuary and spice plantations. Check into your hotel upon arrival. In the afternoon, explore a spice plantation at your own pace to learn about the variety of spices grown here. Later in the evening enjoy Kathakali Show on your own, Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 05:Thekkady to Kumarakom (Approx. 156 km / 5 hours)

After breakfast, checkout from hotel and proceed by road to Kumarakom, a beautiful village on the banks of Vembanad Lake known for its backwaters and bird sanctuary. Check into your hotel /Houseboat and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at the hotel/Houseboat.

Day 06:Kumarakom – Cochin dept (40 km / 2 hrs) (Flight/Train)

Enjoy breakfast, Checkout from hotel/Houseboat then drive to Cochin Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.                           ***Tour Ends with Sweet Memories***
