Travel Itinerary

Day 01:Bagdogra - Phuentsholing (160kms – 04hrs)

On arrival at Bagdogra/Siliguri/ New JalpaiGuri. We Pick up you by cab from Bagdogra, meet and greet on arrival time and transfer to Phuentsholing. On arrival check inn to the hotel and night stay Phuentsholing.

Day 02:Phuentsholing to Thimphu (180 kms – 06 hrs)

Morning after Breakfast, checkout from hotel and later proceed for Thimphu. and after processing permit you will drive to Kharbandi Gumpa/ Milerapa Lhakhang &  Drive through  spectacular mountain views and peaceful countryside to Thimphu,  The capital of Bhutan via Gedu, which is located  about 9000 ft above the sea and view of  .and stopover for photo session at  Wankha Waterfalls on arrival at Thimphu check in hotel. Overnight stay in Thimphu hotel.

Day 03:Thimphu to Dochula, Punakha sightseeing

Morning drive to Dochula pass (3,150m) that heralds the most enchanting views of Bhutan. Later drive to Punakha visit Chimmi Lakhang, PHO CHU & MO CHU River, Punakha Dzong, and Suspension Bridge. Overnight at hotel in Thimphu.

Day 04:Thimphu local Sightseeing - Paro.( 65 kms – 02 hrs)

Morning proceed go for local Sightseeing tour of Thimphu including visit ---National Library, Simply Bhutan, The National Memorial Chorten, BUDDHA POINT & Hindu Temple, Changankha Lakhang, Tashichodzong (The Seat Of Government), TAKIN RESERVE CENTRE, Zorig Chusum School Of 13 Traditional Arts And Crafts, drive through the Wangchu river in the valley floor through the suburbs and villages of Thimphu to arrive at the river confluence of Chuzom, a hub of road network going to Paro, Haa and Phuentsholing. From Chuzom following Pa Chu river upstream passing Tachogang temple on the other side of the river to Thimphu. Overnight stay Paro.

Day 05:Paro local Sightseeing night stay Paro.( Full Day Sight Seen )

In the morning drive to visit NYA MEY ZAM BRIDGE, RINPUNG DZONG, KICHU LHAKHANG, INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (Bird Eye View), NATIONAL MUSEUM and TIGER NEST VIEW, (just view from 7km range-not trekking), PARO RIVER, IRON BRIDGE(TAMCHU) and Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 06:Paro to Phuentsholing to Bagdogra drop, .( 340kms - 10hrs. )

After breakfast, checkout from hotel and drop at Bagdogra, here your tour will end with memorable experience of Bhutan.

04: What is your cancellation policy?

10 Days Before Travel: 30% of the package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee. 5-9 Days Before Travel: 60% of the package cost will be charged. Within 4 Days of Travel: No refund will be provided. Note: Peak season includes long weekends, holidays, and festive periods. Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days. Valid Identification:

Original Indian Passport with at least six months' validity from the intended date of departure from Bhutan. Alternatively, an original Voter ID card issued by the Election Commission of India is acceptable.

For Minors (Below 18 Years):

Original birth certificate in English or a valid passport. Children must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Entry Permit Application Form & Recommendation Letter:

Duly completed application form, available at the point of entry. A letter from a local host, hotel, or tour operator in Bhutan may be required.

Travel Insurance:

Proof of travel insurance covering the duration of the trip is recommended.

Sustainable Development Fee (SDF)

As of September 2023, Indian tourists are required to pay a Sustainable Development Fee of USD 100 per person per day. Children below the age of 5 are exempt from this fee.

Travel Beyond Border Towns

The Entry Permit allows travel to Thimphu and Paro. For visiting other regions, a Special Area Permit must be obtained from the Immigration Office in Thimphu.

Entry Points and Permit Issuance

Entry Permits can be obtained at the following points:

  • Phuentsholing Pedestrian Terminal

  • Gelephu

  • Samdrup Jongkhar

Ensure you arrive during working hours, as immigration offices are closed on weekends and Bhutanese public holidays.

Important Notes

  • Documents such as Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, driving licenses, and PIO/OCI cards are not valid for entry into Bhutan.

  • It is advisable to carry multiple copies of all documents and photographs.

  • For a smoother experience, especially during peak tourist seasons, consider applying for the Entry Permit online through the Bhutan Immigration Services Portal.
