Travel Itinerary

Day 01:Arrival Coimbatore – Ooty (90 km / 03-04 hours) (Flight/Train)

Upon arriving at Coimbatore Airport/ railway station, you will be transferred to your hotel in Ooty. Ooty: Known as the “Queen of Hill Stations,” Ooty (Udhagamandalam) sits at 2,240 meters above sea level amidst the scenic Nilgiri Hills. Its name, derived from the tribal Toda word meaning “House of Mountains,” reflects its mountainous charm. Once a British colonial retreat, Ooty today is famed for its vast tea plantations, colonial-era cottages, serene lakes, and the UNESCO-listed Nilgiri Mountain Railway. Whether you seek tranquility, adventure, or a memorable family getaway, Ooty offers an enchanting experience.  On arrival Check-in and relax for the rest of the day, soaking in the cool hill station vibes. Spend a peaceful overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 02:Exploring Ooty

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour around Ooty. Visit Dodabetta Peak, the highest point in the area, for stunning panoramic views. Later, drive to nearby Coonoor to explore Sims Park and the scenic Dolphin’s Nose viewpoint. In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens and enjoy leisure time at Ooty Lake. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03:Ooty – Day Trip to Coonoor

Post breakfast, head out to Coonoor, the second largest hill station in the Nilgiris, located about 19 km from Ooty. Visit Sim’s Park, established in 1874, known for its diverse collection of plants and trees. Discover breathtaking viewpoints such as Lamb’s Rock, Dolphin’s Nose, and Lady Canning’s Seat. Optionally, take a ride on the charming Nilgiri Toy Train for a unique perspective of the landscape. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Ooty.

Day 04: Ooty to Munnar (155 km / 6 -7 hours)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and enjoy a scenic drive to Munnar. Known for its sprawling tea gardens and cool climate, Munnar is a perfect hill retreat. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 05:Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, set out for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit iconic spots like  Eravikulam National Park, home to the rare Nilgiri Tahr (subject to park availability). Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Museum, and Kundala Lake. You can also explore Don’t miss the photo opportunities across the tea-carpeted hills.Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 06:Munnar to Cochin – Departure (135 Km / 4-5 Hrs) (Flight/Train)
