Travel Itinerary

Day 01:Arrival Cochin –Kumarakom (60 km / 2 hours)(Flight/Train)

On arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway station, you will be warmly welcomed and then driven to the peaceful backwater village of Kumarakom. Check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the serene surroundings. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kumarakom.

Day 02:Kumarakom Sightseeing

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before heading out to explore the famous Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, a haven for migratory birds. You may also choose to enjoy an optional backwater cruise to experience the calm waters and beautiful landscapes. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03:Kumarakom to Thekkady (Approx. 160 km / 4 hours)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady, renowned for its spice plantations and wildlife sanctuary. Arrive by afternoon, check into your hotel, and enjoy a leisurely evening in this lush hill station. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 04: Explore Thekkady

Following breakfast, embark on a boat safari through the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can spot elephants, deer, and a variety of birds in their natural habitat. Later, visit a nearby spice plantation to learn about the cultivation of cardamom, pepper, and other spices. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05:Thekkady - Cochin (200 km / 5 hours) – Cochin Half day Sightseeing

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Cochin. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and set out for a cultural sightseeing tour. Visit historical sites including the Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, and witness the iconic Chinese fishing nets at the harbor. Spend the evening at your leisure. Overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 06:Cochin dept (35 km / 01-02 - hrs) (Flight/Train)
