Travel Itinerary

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu Traditional welcome with fresh garland by our representative Transfer to hotel and check-in Rest of the day at leisure. Later return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02:Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour:
  • Pashupatinath Temple: A sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, known for its two-tiered golden roof and religious significance.
  • Later will visits of Boudhanath Stupa: One of the world’s largest stupas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it stands as a symbol of peace and compassion.
  • After also visits of Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): An ancient Buddhist site with a panoramic view of the valley and the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha.
  • Next you will visit  Kathmandu Durbar Square: Explore royal palaces, ancient temples, and legendary courtyards such as Taleju Temple, Kal Bhairav, and Gaddi Baithak.
Evening free for shopping or leisure walk.. later return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03:Kathmandu Excursion

Post breakfast, continue your exploration:
  • Chandragiri Hills: Reach this scenic hilltop via cable car to witness breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest (weather permitting).
  • Budhanilkantha Temple: Famous for its unique reclining statue of Lord Vishnu, this sacred Hindu and Buddhist site is a must-visit.
Evening free for leisure later return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04:Departure from Kathmandu

After breakfast, free time until checkout Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey

10 Days Before Travel: 30% of the package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee. 5-9 Days Before Travel: 60% of the package cost will be charged. Within 4 Days of Travel: No refund will be provided. Note: Peak season includes long weekends, holidays, and festive periods. Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey, please take note of the following travel guidelines:

  1. Transportation Policy
  • Vehicles will be provided strictly as per the itinerary.
  • Vehicles are NOT available on disposal basis for personal use beyond scheduled tours or transfers.
  1. Sightseeing Duration
  • Half-Day Sightseeing: Maximum of 3 hours
  • Full-Day Sightseeing: Maximum of 6 hours
  1. Hotel Policy
  • Check-In Time: 2:00 PM
  • Check-Out Time: 12:00 Noon

Remarks

  • Splitting of the package (using partial services or modifying the itinerary) is not permitted.
  • Unused services (e.g., missed sightseeing, early check-outs, or skipped meals) are non-refundable under any circumstances.

 

Terms & Conditons

Children Policies

  • Child Sharing Policy: A maximum of one child is allowed to share the existing bedding with parents. No extra bed will be provided unless specifically requested at an additional cost.
  • Children up to 5 Years: Complimentary land services (hotels, transportation, sightseeing) are free of charge. However, airline charges, if applicable, will be borne by the client.
  • Children 6 Years and Above: Charged at 100% of the adult package price, as full services are provided.

 

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in your tour package price. It is the passenger's responsibility to verify whether their existing health insurance provides coverage while traveling internationally. Please consult your insurance provider for specific details.

Butterfly Travel and Leisure strongly recommends purchasing a comprehensive travel insurance policy that covers the following:

  • Trip cancellations and loss of deposits
  • Baggage loss or delay
  • Loss of personal belongings
  • Medical expenses due to illness or injury
  • Emergency evacuation and repatriation
  • Accidental death and disability

We are happy to suggest suitable travel insurance options on a case-by-case basis.

If travel insurance is declined, a waiver form must be signed acknowledging full responsibility for any risks incurred during the trip.
